Eric Dumas, director of Euralis, was unanimously elected President of CIFOG (the Comité Interprofessionnel des Palmipèdes à Foie Gras), for a three-year term. This Committee represents all professionals in the fattened poultry sector.
As a breeder of fattened ducks in Horsarrieu in the Landes (40), Eric Dumas succeeds Michel Fruchet. As an elected member, he joined the CIFOG Bureau in 2017 and was vice-president of this structure since 2020.
Its mission: to allow a serene recovery of the sector after the last episode of avian influenza, in accordance with the new roadmap set by the French Minister of Agriculture. He has to ensure the future of a symbolic sector of French gastronomy which is part of the economic vitality of the territories.
