Our seed activities cover all sectors including research, production and sales. Euralis’ own brand range Euralis Semences focuses on 5 major European species: maize, sunflower, rapeseed, soya and sorghum.
Located in close proximity to our markets via 11 subsidiaries, we are constantly strengthening our historic ties in Western Europe and plan to roll out a successful international development strategy in Ukraine and Russia.
Euralis Semences invests 13% of its turnover in research and development. The research programme focuses on farmers’ needs in order to increase their revenues. Our research efforts are enhanced by powerful partnership strategies, including SOLTIS for sunflowers, EUROSORGHO for sorghum, and INNOLEA for research in plant genetics and genomics on oleaginous species.

Launch of a new Euralis Semences factory in Russia
Euralis Semences launched a project to build a seed production factory in Russia, located 470 kilometres south of Moscow, near Voronezh. This site will cover at least 100 hectares: 20 hectares will be dedicated to a factory and warehouses while 80 hectares will house a research and selection centre, as well as an agro-centre showcasing our technological and marketing innovations. The site, which is expected to be up and running for the 2021 campaign, will boast an annual production capacity of 10,000 tonnes of seeds and create approximately one hundred permanent contracts. Both a guarantee of sustainability on the Russian market and a real competitive driver, this new site will respond to all Euralis Semences quality requirements in a bid to satisfy our clients as much as possible. The aim is to increase sales in Russia twofold, from 500,000 units to 1 million units by 2025.
Creation of INNOLEA, a research company specialised in plant genetics and genomics devoted to oleaginous species
Since 1 January 2019, research in plant genetics and genomics on oleaginous species initially led by the Biogemma company have been regrouped under the new company, INNOLEA, bringing together Euralis Semences, Limagrain, RAGT Semences and the Sofiprotéol innovation fund for oil and protein crops.
In support of the French oleaginous sector, our activities are focused specifically on researching genetic characteristics of interest with a direct application in terms of selection.
The Board of Directors at Caussade Semences Group and Euralis Semences initiated talks with a view to a potential merger between the two companies.
The new group would significantly strengthen the positioning of the two brands on European markets by offering a wider range of products and varieties recognised by farmers and distributors.
Euralis Semences is accelerating its growth dynamic in France and abroad
After doubling its turnover and research during the 2008-2014 period, Euralis Semences aims to double its activities and research efforts once again in 2020 by continuing to invest in seed production. The Euralis Seed Division is increasing development in Europe and beyond, while continuing to strengthen its position on the French market.
