The Euralis Group mission statement

As a co-operative group, the primary purpose of Euralis is to get the best results for its members' agricultural products to maximise their incomes.

Its second purpose is to produce better and more with an objective of sustainable development, quality, food safety, and a relevant response to consumer needs to meet the many challenges facing agriculture today:

• Food supply challenge: to produce more in order to meet the needs of an exploding world population, set to increase from 6 billion people today to 9 billion by 2050. It also means producing better, to ensure food safety whilst offering quality guarantees.
• Economic challenge: to ensure prices acceptable to all against a backdrop of price rises and a fall in purchasing power. It also means recreating a link with the soil, putting the French back in touch with their farmers, regaining their trust by increasing transparency in agricultural production.
• Social and local challenge: to protect jobs in the long term at our production facilities and the future of our farms.
• Environmental challenge: to reconcile economic growth and protection of the natural environment by putting in place sustainable methods of production and operation.
