The Division operates a policy of continuous improvement based on innovation and quality. Our duck production in South West France holds PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) status, a guarantee of the origin, traceability and quality of a large range of products, including the Montfort brand. All certifications are validated by independent bodies and recognised by the public authorities.
Customer satisfaction is also ensured through the implementation of tried and tested methods. The HACCP risk analysis system is applied in all Euralis Gastronomie production units. Additionally, all production sites hold IFS (International Food Standard) certification, most at a high level.
Internationally, the facilities at Herbiers, Sarlat and Marieville (Canada) hold export permits. Sarlat also complies with the most rigorous standards of hygiene and organisation, certified by their USDA permit. Therefor, Rougié is the only French foie gras producer authorised to export its products to the United States.
