Foie Gras

Euralis launched its foie gras business through the acquisition of Grimaud Montfort in the mid-1990's. The aim was to enable its farmers to diversify. The Group soon rose to the top of the foie gras market, consolidating its leadership position with the purchase in 2002 of Rougié Bizac International.
This acquisition established Euralis as the world leader on the foie gras and duck products market in its two supply centres in South West France and the Pays de la Loire as well as on the various consumer markets for foie gras.
Euralis Gastronomie now benefits from a strong position in France and on a number of markets: in supermarkets with its Montfort range, in hotels and restaurants with its Rougié brand and mail order with its Pierre Champion range.
Additionally, the close partnerships forged with its customers through store brands serve to further strengthen a business continuously expanding on every market.
